Carers Week 2025
A carer is someone who provides unpaid care to a family member/friend who has a disability, illness, mental health condition, addiction or is needing extra support.
65% of people in the UK will provide care in their adult life, which means you, or someone you know, may already need support.

Carers UK say that; “Social Services and the NHS rely on carers’ willingness and ability to provide care. Without the support of unpaid carers, these systems would collapse.”
This year’s theme is ‘Caring About Equality,’ which focuses on the inequalities faced by unpaid carers. These include a higher risk of poverty, social isolation, and poor mental and physical health.
Get involved in Carers Week 2025 to help create a society that values and supports all carers.
